I did a search for quakes for the past 2 months, starting March 1st through today. First search was for all quakes M5.5 and larger (there were 126). Image below. Look at how jam packed South Pacific/Asia is compared to the rest of the world! South America seems unusually sparse. And keep in mind that blob in the South Pacific is a huge cluster of quakes. usgs link is below if you want to zoom in. https://imgur.com/a/P92UUvL [ link to earthquake.usgs.gov (secure)] I also searched M6.0 and greater (there were 33), and now it really looks lopsided. The Americas are looking scary bare. https://imgur.com/a/CWL5Nzq [ link to earthquake.usgs.gov (secure)] This can't be good - all that movement on one side of the world but the other side doesn't seem to be compensating? I know it's not that simple, but I am not liking this visual. This Littlepixie agrees. As you know I watch Mexico,it has been a really strange month with the 13-17th being especially quiet. I have also noticed that there are lots of fairly deep earthquakes around Argentina. No Mexico earthquakes posted here today(my timezone), I hope she's not winding up for a big one, I'm guessing she's just taking a rest. :blowkisses: Lots for everyone with extras for ND because I missed your birthday.
