Earthquake Thread ~ Always Updated

Hello my friends. Hope the moms in this thread had a beautiful Mother's Day yesterday and that everything is alright with all of you.

A little update from my end. Herniated disc in right shoulder and arm are healing steadily finally. Still feel it, especially with typing on the computer, but at least the pain is bearable and the medication helps more. Doctor says it could take a few more weeks before it should be completely healed. Might need some physiotherapy afterwards.

The sciatic nerve in my left leg is getting better as well. So hopefully in a few weeks I'll be back to my normal, insane self. World beware.. I at least got rid of the morphine and am now trying to cut down on the pregabaline. Best not google on side effects in doing so, lol.

I missed all of you here and in the JB thread, but I had to restrain myself from typing on the computer, because I didn't want to force things. Typing on the phone works better, but my God, I can't figure out how today's generation is typing with two thumbs at the speed of light. Either my thumbs are too big or the keyboard on my phone is too small. Man, I am getting old! *insert cracking voice clip*

I did try to catch up a bit on the past pages. Glad no one got hit by some Chinese rocket junk. They already caused enough crisis as it is, we don't need more of that. And Moon Girl, quite a scare for your sister, but kudos to her for her instinct and her acting on it. Don't mess with the Irish! Hopefully they will catch the creep, thanks to her!

Anyway, just wanted to check in and say hi and wish you all a great week ahead on this day, whose name shall not be mentioned.

Stay sane, safe, healthy and vigilant my friends. And thank you for all the well wishes. So much appreciated. Stick together. Because together we can work miracles. This thread and the JB thread prove it.

Happy belated Mother's day to all of the great mom's here as well.

Good Monday morning from sunny hot Palm Springs. My time share was supposed to be in February but because of Covid and when my other relatives could attend it is now. 96 there yesterday and high 90's all week. Now I know why we always were here in February.
