It is, and I quote, "a severe elbow injury" Regular ortho doc won't touch it. She has an appointment with elbow specialist on Monday. I hope they give her more pain meds or she is going to have a very long weekend.

ANOTHER CME IS COMING: A minor CME billowed away from sunspot AR2822 on May 13th (around 1600 UT). NOAA computer models suggest that it might deliver a glancing blow to Earth's magnetic field on May 18th. This will not be a big event, but it could spark high latitude auroras.

A potentially large active region is about 3 days away from reaching the east limb. Based on imagery courtesy of STEREO Ahead, it does appear to be fairly active. We will get a better look beginning early next week.

I'm having a hard time keeping up,,things to do inside and outside, and I swear time is going faster every week ! Or maybe just geriatric slowing down, it's weird. Leg is better too so it will be awhile 'til that happens again.
Kids got me a ton of hanging plants, so it's a happy patio !
