Those were some strong storms! It wasn't too bad here yesterday but I did find out when watching the news last night that a couple of concentrated spots in the metro area got hit pretty hard. Some large trees uprooted, power lines down etc. It was very spotty. It's going to be 97 again today, and I think some storms tonight, then only 78 tomorrow!

Feeling pretty good sweetheart. Thanks for asking. Physically I guess I am back to 100%, knock on wood. Sometimes I still feel it, but all in all, doing good.

We had temps around 95 the past days and tomorrow it will be 62 max. No wonder we get these extremes. I read somewhere that on the ground it was in the 90s, but the upper atmosphere was about -22, so it was logical that Mother Nature gave us a show of force.

It promises something for the rest of Summer.

I'm already trying to figure out what to make tonight. I might just order food lol. We'll see. I must admit that I am having fun learning new recipes. :)

Good for you! I have just about mastered the skills of the air fryer. And for a guy that even manages to let water burn, that is quite an achievement.

I do miss my mom's great cooking though.

Great, so glad you are getting back to normal. And now that it's cooled off it will be much nicer for walks and fishing. Weather is definitely getting more extreme, no doubt. Although here we seem to keep missing it, both last year and this one. I'm not complaining, but it is strange for us. We're typically stormy.

I've always been intrigued by the air fryer. I've experienced them but I don't have one. I've held myself back from looking into them because I really don't have room for more kitchen stuff. I'm a sucker for kitchen gadgets, so I have to practice restraint or else I'd go overboard and have too much crap sitting around.

That being said, now air fryers are also in the form of toaster ovens and can be used as either. I love my toaster oven and use it all the time, but whenever it's time to get rid of it, I think I will look into some combo device like that so I can have the best of both worlds.

Oh, just one more thing. Air fryers are magic. Not only for someone with two left hands like me, but even for experienced cooks. So many possibilities.

It really is a big step up from ovens and micro waves. Extremely handy, even though not all agree on that...

OMG I have so much crap in the basement, even stuff from the early 1970's. Quesadilla maker / mini pie maker / huge pressure canner / electric donut maker / 3 waffle irons / pizzelle maker / panini press / large canning pan and TONS of canning jars / ice cream cone maker / 2 electric indoor grills / all sizes of pastry crescent makers / 2 large bins of every single small kitchen gadget known to mankind...and I have only touched on the monumental hoard of kitchen shit down there.
Kids had a family intervention once about all this. But now they leave me alone.
.....I do need an air fryer lol

I'm sooo glad that your AC wasn't a major fix, Kickin. I know from experience how hard it can be to even get an appointment when it's hot out. I need another vent cut into one of my bedrooms and am on the perpetual waiting list...probably until it cools off.
