There are a lot of remedies out there for ants. I know diatomaceous earth is one of them, and I've also heard of using cayenne and/or black pepper. I've heard mixed reviews on using cinnamon. I'm sure there are others, but it might be worth changing your approach a time or two to see if it has an impact.

Same. We have 3 very full bedrooms plus and ridiculously full basement. Most of it would have to go with us as we can't afford to replace most of it.

By the way, hubby STILL has not found a job. Looking more and more like we will have to head to Texas so he can work with my brother who has never kept any of his endeavors going even though this time looks good for him. If it does what it has been, if hubby worked along side him for only 6 months we would make up what we have lost for almost 2 years

But it would be horrible to move with neither my daughter nor myself able to do much of anything. I hate it.

Hubby won't even talk to me about it.

And now you know why I haven't been posting. It is all bad here. BAD

Have tried all of those. Even mixing borax with cornmeal (in areas the cats can't get to) nothing. Windex and vinegar is the only thing that helps as both kill the ant trail scent but there are so many in only lasts for an hour or two and then we have to reapply.
