Praying for your friend. I hope you are holding up okay.

I wish I had a bit more uplifting news, but unfortunately this early morning I received the very sad news that one of my dearest and closest friends on here, who I am in frequent contact with over the past years, lost their son on Sunday.

It started with a cough about two weeks ago and being tested positive with COVID. A few days later he was admitted to the hospital, when his blood oxygen level had significantly dropped and taken to ICU, where he passed away on Sunday, in the presence of his wife.

Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers. And please also respectfully refrain from starting a discussion about COVID or vaccines. This is neither the place or time for that. Thank you

In moments like these all the troubles in the world are being put in perspective. I know some of you sadly have experienced it yourself the past years. To me there are never words enough for suffering such a terrible loss.
