Earthquake Thread ~ Always Updated

Just got back from bringing nanny to the grocery store. I was surprised it wasn't busier there. Everything was in stock, no empty (or even close to empty) shelves.

We also went by the cemetery and collected a couple of ceramic angels that are at Papa's grave so that they don't blow away when the winds come. I'll bring them back after the storm.

I will pray for his safety. He might end up with a cancelled flight. If you hear back from him, please keep us updated.

I'm about 1.5 miles from the ocean. I'm worried about my street flooding from all the rain. This street floods so easily. Just don't want the basement to flood again. Aside from that I'm good here. We have plenty of food, battery operated lights, a brand new roof (phew!), vodka (lol), etc.

I'm wondering if I should go check the drain at the end of our street to make sure there isn't anything potentially blocking it. I guess the storm is supposed to move slowly once it gets here so it'll be raining for a bit.

She has a hotel room for a couple days.

I have no idea. I didn't even know he was there this week until a couple of days ago. I knew he planned on going, just didn't know when. His sister squealed on him the other day.

He started wearing out guardian angels when he was a toddler. I'm surprised they still hang on to him. I'm glad they do, though.

Today is is 84th birthday in heaven. Missing her BIGGLY!!!

Appreciate the prayers. I'm hoping he's paying attention and switched his flight. He still thinks he's indestructible. It doesn't help he's kind of a loner, either.

I'll for sure let y'all know when I hear something. Not too sure I will until tomorrow though. At least he stays in touch with my daughter.

We have one basement window which is boarded up. The glass is there, but there's wood on the outside of the house on it. But we have bulkhead doors from the outside. :\

It's probably gonna flood.
