Just in:

The Canary Islands Volcanological Institute (Involcan) has located in La Palma a "small magmatic reservoir", with a volume of approximately 11 million cubic meters (11 Hm3), inside Cumbre Vieja in the same area where the most of the earthquakes in the recent swarm and at a depth of between 6 and 7 kilometers.

In addition, Involcan has reiterated in a statement that the Canary Islands Geodesic Network has registered, in recent days, a significant deformation of the terrain of volcanic origin.

Likewise, it has indicated that it cannot be ruled out that the seismicity felt in the coming days will intensify, depending on the evolution of the activity.

Thanks for sharing this. The quake activity has dropped significantly overnight. The calm before the storm?

Unless it’s un “seeable” as a quake because it’s traveling through magma.

It’s not good. That’s all I “ feel”.
