We are hoping insurance will approve the injectable one that can be done at home. We could use prayers that this is approved. Hopefully the home injection option opens up. He said they need to be able to temporarily lift the stacking regulations and let the trucking yards stack empty containers higher than 2. Word got out and the mayor of Long Beach lifted the ordinance temporarily. I guess the guy got out in a boat for three hours assessing the situation. He’s in the industry himself. In a full 3 hour loop through the port complex, passing every single terminal, we saw less than a dozen containers get unloaded. There are hundreds of cranes. I counted only ~7 that were even operating and those that were seemed to be going pretty slow. It seems that everyone now agrees that the bottleneck is yard space at the container terminals. The terminals are simply overflowing with containers, which means they no longer have space to take in new containers either from ships or land. It’s a true traffic jam. Right now if you have a chassis with no empty container on it, you can go pick up containers at any port terminal. However, if you have an empty container on that chassis, they’re not allowing you to return it except on highly restricted basis. WOW read the rest of the problems. I probably am not the best reference to listen to, which has to do with the general atmosphere on this forum toward those who are vaxxed and, according to that and the outcome of the Neanderthaler polls we see on an almost daily basis, am doomed to die shortly because of my personal decision. All I can do is go from current facts and those are that I am vaxxed with two shots of Astra Zenica and had no side effects at all (maybe a bit of a sore arm for half a day), together with around 250 people I know in my town. Who are all also still very much alive. 83% of my town (100,000 people) is fully vaccinated. The past three months four people were hospitalized and one passed away. Having said that Angel, I know this is a tough choice for you, but I hardly think you will find a generally objective answer for your question on this forum because of the general opinion on vaccination. And therefor I believe the best source to get that answer for Mandi would be to call your doctor. That is if you trust your doctor. Otherwise it is up to your own instinct and risk calculation. All I can do is give you my personal experience and what I, as a pretty down to earth guy, see around me. I guess no one can predict what the future brings. They for sure know that as well. Like I said, I know it is a tough choice for you. I totally respect that. People should always make their own choices in this.
