Seriously, can I get any answers besides what I already knowm which is that messing around in other plains is a quick way to hell?

I am not sure where you want to go with this. You are OK, you did not get stuck there or injured there, but I'm not sure there is a sure-fire dependable way to guarantee you will not have repeat experiences. Keep your spiritual house in order, sleep with the light on if necessary, and eat a good dinner with meat in it.
