What happened to the western sky object around sunset? Has it gotten bigger?

Here in Ohio: last night was the first night that we could not see it. It usually show up despite clouds and was the only thing we saw at sunset and two hours later.
We shall see if we see it tonight.

Thanks for the observations Can that object be seen worldwide? Or is this just a northern hemisphere thing? How come not many people in Asia and Europe are talking about this?
