I think you are going to find that this was a very large, tall, and oddly shaped individual with a goatee (sterotypical male TSA worker) that got shot in the head and lost a whole lot of blood. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45336956 You're joking, right? You mean that is what they'll say if this goes viral. You are not actually saying that is a real person are you? |

On a gurney. Quoting: Sikhed Not flopping around in a wheelchair without so much as a band-aid or IV started. This isn't a battlefield evacuation. lol gurney's must be outdated or something because apparently a guy with his legs blown off and still conscious doesn't need the gurney, IV or bandages either... Sikhed User ID: 47626355 United States 11/02/2013 12:31 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Ok, let's say he was hit in the lung. Why is his shirt not removed? They'd need to put in a "heimlich valve". This is a device to treat sucking chest wounds and prevents the lung from collapsing. Standard in an EMT's bag. Shirt would also need to be removed to attach ekg monitoring electrodes and a defibrillator patch (they don't use paddle defibrillators anymore) And again, not IV started, no O2 given, etc. :doom360: |

I'mready User ID: 14870517 United States 11/02/2013 12:44 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | First of all, let's make it clear that it was law enforcement, not EMS, that wheeled out the mannequin-looking individual. I'll be the first one to say this was a mannequin used for EMS training, but for the smart guy who said an EKG, etc should have been done clearly doesn't know what he's talking about. In this case, once you make sure the scene was safe, which it wasn't, you would want to get the patient out ASAP. Your notion of EKG, IV, chest tube on scene is fucking ridiculous. You're not going to stick around and preform invasive procedures while there's an active shooter. So while you have the right to free speech (for now), keep your points directed towards things you know and stop making this site look like a bunch of idiots. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 14184144 Canada 11/02/2013 01:05 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My post from the other thread: Ok peeps, hopefully someone can back me up on this: there was two real fishy bits of video shown on CNN in the last little while. The first is the wounded man in blue being wheeled towards the emergency vehicles, did anyone watch the whole scene start to finish? Something was definitely different with the guy from when they first brought him out to when he started getting medical attention. At the start of the footage the guy looked fine, he was sitting upright and looked alert and healthy. Literally within a second of being out of camera view suddenly he's extremely pale, can't hold himself up, etc.. Anyone see this? Also, another "blue shirt" was seen being lead to an ambulance by what looked like one police officer and a group of firefighters. He seemed to have an injured arm and also looked like he was arguing with the group of officials and shaking his head "no", there's literally a crowd of firefighters jostling him around, then for no reason there's a definite cut in the video (not live video) and all you see is the man now in a stretcher being loaded into the ambulance by said firefighters, with his clothes in a pile where he was last seen standing beside the ambulance. One more thing, just a min ago (on CNN) there was a loud gunshot with the sound of a shell casing hitting hard ground broadcasted during an interview with one "Debra ferrick?" The only video feeds on screen during this loud gunshot were one feed of emergency officials helping "victims", one feed showing a helicopter view of the Tarmac of LAX, since the only other audio and video would be from the interview showing at this time, where did the sound of the gunshot come from? Why was it so clear? Hoping someone can verify that this stuff wasn't just on my t |

If he's got a wound that bad, ONE of those guys running with them should at least be trying to put some pressure on it. Where's the blood trail? |
