You overextended and he's simply trying to make you justify your position while not reinforcing his.

He's making you chase him and you were doing it, there is no proof to support either supposition but the angrier you get and the more claims you make, the easier it is for him to poke holes in you because you have no supporting evidence.

Your claim that he had help is just as likely as his that there was no help from within. I would have asked him why the man chose the mosque to change in when he could have easily changed anywhere else?
