Yeah doom is pretty much the talk of the day here. People are hammering down loose things and tying stuff up that could be blown away. Other than that, it's a nice sunny day, temp is in the high 80's and the San Miguel is in the fridge, life is good.

The grocery stores were packed today more than normal with people buying rice and other dry goods. Lots of flashlights and candles being sold also. Most anticipate an extended power outage in the Central Visayas, which is the projected path.

My biggest fear is the roof coming off the house and not much else.

That region east of Palau looked like it was a storm factory for the past 2 months. It looks like it kept popping until it got one it liked.
