Days are only actually 16 hours long instead of twenty four. The clock still ticks the same but time itself is actually speeding up

I call pseudo science bullshit because there's no way to actually prove that. Measuring time is relative to the observer's perception. Everyone experiences the flow of things differently. The information age is probably contributing to making "time" appear faster.

Re: A year now feels as long as what a month used to feel like
I'm reminded of the old experiment the military did back in the day, where they started two atomic clocks, one on Earth, and one flying in the atmosphere, and when the plane landed, the flying clock had been faster by like .01 seconds. Technically the first example of time travel.

My theory is that both gravity and time are directly linked to the Earth's magnetic field, and if it weakens or if it strengthens, time changes. I think it also may have something to do with the latest rising and setting positions of the sun, which could keep the "look" of old time the same, but the "feel" of time is different.

I haven't met anyone who doesn't agree that time sped up starting in the 2000's

Agree with this. This has been my observation also. I feel this time estimate is correct looking at how fast time runs and how much I feel I lack.

Sounds plausible. I agree also with it starting around 2000.

But I do wonder how much it is just down to getting older and more used to the passage of time.

Still feels external, like its speeding up though

Re: A year now feels as long as what a month used to feel like
No I don't believe it has anything to do with getting older. If you google this you will find a lot of other people are experiencing this. Maybe it is linked with changes happening.

If you can not rely on a clock to measure time and your feeling tells you something is different, how can you measure the passing of time?

For me is in the tasks I can accomplish in a day. I can not do the same amount of tasks in a day. You go do something and look at ypur clock and ypu are surprised by the time. Time flies in this case is really true.

Even if you are waiting and this takes an hour. Waiting an hour used to be a long time. Now before you know it is over.

What is interesting is that a lot of people are experiencing this. It does not seem to be limited to age.

For me this is an indication something is happening.

Maybe earth electronic field is speeding up and we will reach a time when it will reverse. Maybe our bodies are vibratimg on a higher frequencies giving us a different perception of time.

Who know we maybe going to 4th dimension afterall.

I agree. Time flies really fast right now. I cook a lot and consider time really much. Everything goes faster.

Re: A year now feels as long as what a month used to feel like
Think about life situations/circumstances in which you lose track of time. When your level of awareness is experiencing an elevated state of alertness/activity - it becomes more difficult to sense or track the passage of 'time'. If you've ever engaged in a fast-paced sport or any activity that requires your constant attention/focus to track sensory inputs, you have experienced this. I am of the belief that the collective state of consciousness among humanity is being elevated/raised - technology is one of the driving forces of this as we are being exposed to stimuli and being fed data at an unprecedented rate and like never before. This is having an influence on us and altering the way in which we perceive 'time' passage. As this effect increases on a personal level, your awareness will become increasingly fixated on the PRESENT moment (or the Now). You will eventually shed your ability to sense the passage of 'time' and your awareness will be one with the present - which is all the truly exists. The 'past' and 'future' are creations of the physical mind and not a reflection of your pure state of conscious awareness.

Wow... Awesome observation.

I totally agree with everything on this post. We used to shoot at least 2-3 pages a day. Now we're lucky to get through one or even a half of page before we lose daylight.

Now either we are all getting worse at our jobs or there is just less time to work with. Ask anyone in film industry... It's impossible to get work done. We just keep running out of day. Been getting worse and worse each year since around 2003...

Great name SPIN NIPS. Yee haw !
