* WIND...SOUTHERLY WINDS 20 TO 30 MPH WITH LOCAL GUSTS AROUND 45 MPH ARE POSSIBLE. THE WIND WILL SHIFT TO WESTERLY ON THE COAST AND IN THE STRAIT OF JUAN DE FUCA IN THE AFTERNOON.

yeah, high winds & rain but we've had a lot worse.

That website is run by Kevin Martin, an idiot who pretends to be a meteorologist.

He's actually pretty good at what he does, just a little emotionally unstable sometimes. The forecasts are good and helpful.

Channel 7 in Seattle (local news) is talking about possible tornados in next 24 hours

Lived here most of my life and am use to our November storms. Winds, rain and flooding are not uncommon. Tornadoes however are. Yep, a quick search will show you they do occur, but in the last couple of years they are becoming more regular.

I'll be paying attention that's for sure. Thanks for the post OP.

Well tornadoes generally provide some showers and wind. lol!

On a side note, I miss Rebecca Stevenson. Then again I'm a guy. And of course Harry Wappler. I was a fairly young, but I remember seeing him in the late 80's very early 90's.

Remember the wind last Sunday? That was not really foretasted.

Not sure how often the user activates it. But most decent storms it be on line. [link to www.ustream.tv] When live, it shows a lot of data. The user has an advanced weather station and programs. If I remember, It's all located just south west of the airport.
