Just remember the Mayan where so smart they could predict the end of the world, yet couldn't prevent their own demise??

The fact that they made predictions about planetary changes based on observable cyclic motions does not mean that the mayans would be immune to the process of rise and fall of the civilizations. I believe there was somewhat a 'golden age' of the mayan civilization but it was followed by a downfall. Also the conditions in which the civilization disappeared aren't exactly well explained are they? Its not like they can predict the future at the power of will ( I guess ) and be prepared for any event on their way. Things happen for reasons and they happen as they should. It helps when you can read and understand the stone of five era's, like the mayans could. They didn't predict, they read information from a stone and knew. They didn't carve the stone as men might have you believe. It's been here from era #1 btw. Those pictures they show people with the stone of 5 era's standing facing you, like it is standing currently, that's all wrong. It's suppose to be laid flat on it's back. on the top of a pyramid?
