How to Turn off a Linksys WIFI Router Signal and Keep the Wired Signal!
[link to science.opposingviews.com]

I already feel better. All I had to do was go to a search engine and get instructions. Look for your specific router to do the same. I kept thinking about using an old wired router but now found that is not necessary. Avoid unnecessary health problems this way. FYI I do not use a cell phone.

Although wireless routers have advanced security settings, perhaps the most extreme way to keep your network secure is to shut off wireless access completely. Whether you're chasing a more secure network or looking for a way to turn an old wireless Linksys router into a simple wired Ethernet switch, you can shut off the wireless broadcast using the Linksys router management interface.

Step 1

Open a Web browser.
Step 2

Navigate to the IP address of your router. The default address for Linksys routers is 192.168.1.1. Enter your router admin name and password.

(both are "admin," usually)
Step 3

Click on "Wireless."
Step 4

Open the "Wireless Network Mode" drop-down menu and select "Disabled."
Step 5

Click "Save settings."

And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe—the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state, but from the hand of God.

Lincoln's economic advisor Henry C. Carey explained the universal issue in his 1851 Harmony of Interests:

"Two systems are before the world.... One looks to pauperism, ignorance, depopulation, and barbarism; the other to increasing wealth, comfort, intelligence, combination of action, and civilization. One looks towards universal war; the other towards universal peace. One is the English system; the other ... the American system, for ... elevating while equalizing the condition of man throughout the world."

If you are not using your WIFI signal, you do not get constantly bombarded with it. The less microwave radiation there is in your home the better.

For example look at these various websites:

If you don't actually need wireless connectivity, it reduces Radio Frequency (RF) pollution of your environment. The gigahertz frequencies involved have questionable health effects.

I was thinking about health and microwave radiation mostly, but the spying potentials are also poignant.
