Ben Affleck proved this in 'Daredevil'. Blind people have been milking the handicap thing for too long. Time to expose the fact that they can really see with sound. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14753190 No they don't. It is an idea, or just a word with a meaning. There are many facets to being blind. Some folks are blind with absolutely no light, no dark, no nothing. Try to see out of the back of your head for a minute. Then there are blind folks who see dark. That is because they actually can sense something where their eyes are and no light coming into them can make the image on the brain. Then there are those with light perception. Blurry is the best I can explain. No defined edges on anything, but the can be taught colors. Then there are those who can see, but again, edges of things are not clear. They know shapes and size and distance. They can even read with magnification and visual aids or the aids of other devices. There are those that see pretty good, but still need some help with visual aids. They can't drive a car, but they can get around on their own well enough you'd never know they can't see much. They only way you know is if you know them personally or they tell you. I have know many blind people |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9293398 Eh, I'm finding that hard to believe. I know people who say they don't dream, but I think it more likely they don't remember their dream. So Stevie may be one of those people, but I doubt he speaks for all blind people. |
