Shocked into labour... baby boom amid typhoon hell: 80 newborns struggle to survive in the chapel of only working hospital in ravaged Philippines city

They are so weak that the youngest victims of Typhoon Haiyan can hardly even cry. Seven babies were born prematurely after their mothers were ‘shocked’ into labour by the storm last Friday, doctors say.
Yesterday they lay sweltering in the chapel of the only functioning public hospital in the ravaged city of Tacloban.
