I am not totally sure on the legality, but I believe the healthcare law is Federal. So its out of the states hands.

Technically the Washington State rep doesn't have the authority to act outside the Fed law just as the president doesn't have the right. I believe that is what the above poster was saying.

All Fed law originate and are ammended through congress I believe.

So if Obama ever does get reprimanded for acting outside constitutional law then so would the state officials who deviated from the Fed Law without proper Authority. Could be a wipe out in government officials across multiple states if they act on what Obama is doing because it was found unlawful. Who in congress would folow that...could be playing with fire.

So as the above poster stated...Washington State officials are telling Obama...your decision to deviate from Fed Law is unlawful and I will not follow suit.

Please someone correct me if I am wrong because I really do not have a extensive background in constitutional law...
