Look at his wikipedia entry - he just gets bumped all around filling positions he has no natural aptitude for, other than as political payoffs.

He's right though. As much as Obama and the people want to roll back to the old plans, it cannot be done. If they do force it those people that would have been bumped into Obamacare will no longer be in Obamacare. This is crash Obamacare financially. If they don't roll those plans back a majority of those people may not participate anyway for various reasons.

It's hilarious actually. Obama has finally gotten himself into a lose / lose situation. He either illegally forces the insurance companies to break the law by providing plans that aren't legal under the ACA and bankrupts the ACA because of it, or he sees people that lost their plans throw a shit fit because their plans got axed. I love it.

You are right. Obama keeps changing set laws which by law of this government is unlawful.

Changing set laws...sounds familiar in a book I know.

I am a late bloomer with politics since about the clinton era. Do any old timers ever remember a leader changing laws as president or is a first? I say this because its biblical.

I am not totally sure on the legality, but I believe the healthcare law is Federal. So its out of the states hands.

Technically the Washington State rep doesn't have the authority to act outside the Fed law just as the president doesn't have the right. I believe that is what the above poster was saying.

All Fed law originate and are ammended through congress I believe.

So if Obama ever does get reprimanded for acting outside constitutional law then so would the state officials who deviated from the Fed Law without proper Authority. Could be a wipe out in government officials across multiple states if they act on what Obama is doing because it was found unlawful. Who in congress would folow that...could be playing with fire.

So as the above poster stated...Washington State officials are telling Obama...your decision to deviate from Fed Law is unlawful and I will not follow suit.

Please someone correct me if I am wrong because I really do not have a extensive background in constitutional law...

Western Washington is. The eastern part is fairly conservative, although some Seattlites have infiltrated. Spokane also has Gonzaga University, which in addition to a national talent basketball team, is full of liberals.

Eastern WA should secede and form its own state. Use the Pacific Crest as a boundary due to water issues.

To late for me to quote it with a link, States have the right to change what insurance companies can be exempt from if it will "in the states opinion" crash the states health insurance situation.

This is true, the law has been voted upon by Congress and enacted. The president can neither make laws nor repeal them.

The insurance commissioner in Washington state, despite being seemingly incapable of speaking in complete, coherent sentences, has responsibility for making sure insurance companies follow the law. And that is what he is doing.

Congress needs to repeal the law... that is what needs to happen.

Obama has no authority to "allow" insurance companies to do anything, or any other company either.

He is just talking like an emperor and nobody is calling him on it.

He needs to be taken down about 50 pegs and put in his rightful place, as holding the office of president, sharing power with the legislative and judicial branches of our government.

Congress needs to be trashed, the supreme court adjourned and the entire pile of fecal material, including the president, should be flushed.

Judge Roberts is a name I will never forget. On the hot list.
