Anonymous Coward User ID: 50166920 United Kingdom 11/18/2013 04:23 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | .............. I understand fine. Quoting: Useless Cookie Eater It's you that seems to not understand the PERCEPTION issue. You really don't understand what I was saying. It doesn't matter....do what you want. People will make up their own minds based on their perceptions. ..and "they go hand in hand"??? ... getting stoned to deal with Fukushima is just retarded logic. Sorry. Truth is Truth and shall bear witness to itself. if it stands to reason, and makes 'sense', feels right, and experiential wisdom confirms, then 'as it is' its ppl who make judgement in ignorance that can be misperceieved, and then have difficultly changing their belief (normalcy bias like). thats not a judgement on you UCE, you have a fair point about smoking, or smoking anything. radiation is an unstable molecule -it has unbalanced neurtons and electrons -so rip other ions from its surrounds causing them to be unstable and chain reaction aka cancer. smoke contains pretty hard core free radicals (co2 has a affinity with haemoglobin 100x greater than oxygen so starves the body/brain) so i do not advise that but this does not mean it does not contain any cannabiniods that get 'vapourised' by the heat and drawn in too. this is the 'feel good' effect it has but is accompanied by alot of toxins in smoke too. the power of the aromatic oils and terpenes and cannabiniods (that also get potentised when heated) still seems to have a beneficial effect on health as the body still uses them in the abscence of anything else. we have more receptors for cannabiniods than for anything else. they act like hormones that 'control and regulate' bodily systems, and thc has properties that mimic an estrogen called estradiol that primary use is to cleanse and rebuild brain and nerve tissue. taken with the rest of plant, and seed (the building blocks of alot of body) there is a complex biological spectrum that the body utilises very well. the flower and male pollen are just as important. its about matching up our biology with the biochemistry of what we need. if you remove any animal from its natural habitation and feed it other, they ALL suffer (majority die [engel- wild health]),. we are suffering for same reason as processing food turns it into acid forming and fresh food is often hybridised and polluted and de-natured. soils are depleted so not getting the nutrients in, and add to that we are not living in that synergy of Nature (tropical away from entropy) we become ill, and start doing what weve done to the Earth, our fellow man, and ourselves. (as in all honesty/Truth, majority ppl are not eating or living a natural life and so are deficient. unnatarul life also means 'stress' -this is a dehydrating and de-mineralising state, and so adds to the problem). there is no case for adaption, or even evolving to this unnatural life style -the reality does not support this -look around -ppl aint acting right, aint health -micro-biology has proven adaption comes at the expense of vitality -thats why the wild animals have health and none of degenerative diseases we do) -thats the 'fall', our dis-grace. and has lead us into this world of consumption and imagination and suffering/death. we go against 'sense' by embracing entropy (every creature from single cell upwards follows the opposite and moves towards balance and away from decay. we destroy our food before we eat it, live in toxity -everything fire derived is entropic so we are not at our senses and not in Natural law. thats my take any way fwiw rp |

RadChick (OP) User ID: 50177611 United States 11/18/2013 10:31 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Oy, good morning everyone. Fuel removal at Unit 4 underway — BBC: Concern casks not watertight, rods would contact air — WSJ: Exposure to air can cause sustained nuclear reaction — AFP: Tokyo evacuations if uncontrolled nuclear conflagration? AP: Rods contain plutonium, experts concerned quake to hit during process AFP, Nov. 18, 2013: Each rod contains uranium and a small amount of plutonium. If they are exposed to the air they would start to heat up, a process that, left unchecked, could lead to a self-sustaining nuclear reaction – known as “criticality”. Sceptics say with so many unknowables in an operation that has never been attempted under these conditions, there is potential for a catastrophe. Government modelling in the immediate aftermath of the Fukushima disaster suggested that an uncontrolled nuclear conflagration at Fukushima could start a chain reaction in other nearby nuclear plants. That worst-case scenario said a huge evacuation area could encompass a large part of greater Tokyo. Of design he created thus; his own waste providing his own food, and all that he did or suffered taking place in and by himself. For the Creator conceived that a being which was self-sufficient would be far more excellent than one which lacked anything; and, as he had no need to take anything or defend himself against any one, the Creator did not think it necessary to bestow upon him hands: nor had he any need of feet, nor of the whole apparatus of walking; but the movement suited to his spherical form which was designed by him, being of all the seven that which is most appropriate to mind and intelligence; and he was made to move in the same manner and on the same spot, within his own limits revolving in a circle. All the other six motions were taken away from him, and he was made not to partake of their deviations. And as this circular movement required no feet, the universe was created without legs and without feet.” -Plato |

RadChick (OP) User ID: 50177611 United States 11/18/2013 11:09 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This mornings headlines/stories about fuel removal: The Independent, Nov. 18, 2013: There are also three sets of fuel rods at the very end of the [Unit 4] pool which reportedly suffered slight damage during the disaster. Experts said the fuel rod sets may have been damaged or jammed by small pieces of debris that fell into the pool during the explosions. AP, Nov. 18, 2013: Fuel assemblies or the rods inside them may be damaged or break open if dropped or shaken violently. They may not come out of the rack smoothly. The fuel assemblies and their handles may have been damaged when big pieces of debris fell on them during explosions early in the crisis. [...] Some fuel rods may be corroded because seawater was used to keep them cool during the emergency. The Guardian, Nov. 18, 2013: The head of Japan’s nuclear safety agency, Shunichi Tanaka, recently warned that removing the fuel involved huge risks, particularly if any attempt is made to force fuel assemblies that have become impeded by debris. “The process involves a very large risk potential,” he said. Reuters, Nov. 18, 2013: 1,500 brittle and potentially damaged assemblies [are at] the unstable reactor No. 4. Radio Free Europe, Nov. 18, 2013: There is also concern that some of the assemblies may have been damaged and therefore more likely to leak when manipulated. On November 13, it was announced that three of the spent fuel assemblies were damaged even before the 2011 disaster and could not be removed from the pool using a cask. TEPCO said it is “reviewing how to transport these fuel assemblies to the common spent fuel pool.” NHK Newsline, Nov. 18, 2013: [...] nuclear experts are concerned. “There could be fragments of debris stuck between the fuel assemblies and their holding racks. That could force workers to halt the operation… it could lead to serious complications.” Akio Yamamoto / Professor, Nagoya University. Bloomberg, Nov. 18, 2013: Were the rods to break or overheat, it could prompt a self-sustained nuclear chain reaction similar to the meltdowns at three Fukushima reactors All links here: [link to enenews.com] Founder of Nuked Radio Thread: MAYDAY: The Wigner Effect ”To argue with a person who has renounced the use of reason is like administering medicine to the dead.” ~Thomas Paine |

Published online in Anticancer Research, researchers at the Department of Oncology at St. George’s, University of London studied six different cannabinoids and found each to have anti-cancer action in leukemia cells. Lead author Wai Liu, Ph.D explained the results of the latest study in Monday’s press release. These agents are able to interfere with the development of cancerous cells, stopping them in their tracks and preventing them from growing. In some cases, by using specific dosage patterns, they can destroy cancer cells on their own.
