Went to the best buy tonight to buy a computer.
Just chatting the guy up I talked about NSA tracking everyone with these things and he replied "If you don't have anything to hide then it should be ok" to which I replied "just because you don't have anything to hide doesn't mean your rights should be violated and treated like a criminal". The next thing he said floored me! "Well, I don't agree, I am getting a degree in Homeland Security and I am former Marine..!
Did anyone else know they are giving degree's in homeland security?

I think its a bit funny I started out talking about how I believe in the Constitution and the bill of rights before I found out what he was studying and wondered why he had a stoic look on his face. I was also pretty shocked that he wouldn't say anything about if he believed in the constitution and just talked about bio terrorism and other types of threats. I told him he is way more likely to get killed by a police officer than a terrorist, to which he regurgitated the same old line that he was more likely to be killed by someone in the home by a gun.
It was surreal dont know about the hs degree stuff..but former marine,and guys are on a power trip sorta fits.do you have any idea what men and women go through to pass certain standards to even be eligible to protect this country..its called a god dammed power trip,and if they do not possess it they will not qualify.get a hold of your selves.
