So either there was no release, or there was a release too small to worry about.

Doom off, ho hum.

According to the government/state sources? Of the government-owned facility? lol

Of course there isn't, because that would require them to TAKE RESPONSIBILITY.

It's not doom off for the people that live around there that are TASTING METAL.

Article starts out: Company work crews and state and federal officials on Monday continued to inspect storm damage to the shut-down Paducah nuclear fuel factory that was struck by an apparent tornado Sunday, officials said.

One of the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant’s four enrichment production buildings was damaged, as well as adjacent cooling towers and a nearby electrical switch yard, said Jeremy Derryberry, a spokeswoman for plant operator, USEC Inc.

More people reporting metallic taste:

MC Squared I'm in western NC and I could taste and feel it late last night. I remember last year when they had a couple "not dangerous" leaks send people here got very sick. Bad pneumonia sick on Christmas and New Year's

This jives with the radar patterns of last 24 hrs:

There are vast amounts of contaminated, high quality nickel and other metals that should be reclaimed when the
Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant (PGDP) enrichment facility moves to decontamination and decommissioning
(D&D). The PGDP cascade is made up of several components such as compressors and converters, along with
miles of associated piping. These components are constructed of monel, copper, nickel-plated steel, aluminum,
and other valuable materials. If these components are treated as waste, they will consume volumes of space in a
disposal cell. In cases where the technology is not currently available for decontamination, the materials should be stored onsite.

Alternately, an option for disposition of volumetrically contaminated assets could be restricted reuse of the
reclaimed assets by DOE-authorized nuclear facilities, the commercial nuclear industry, or Nuclear Regulatory
Commission (NRC) licensees authorized to possess the material. Nickel currently stored at Paducah and Oak
Ridge, along with the volumes which will be generated during the D&D of the PGDP."

Metallic taste is a

1)Common complaint of people going through radiation treatment:

Radiation therapy or cancer itself may cause a change of taste or smell that typically goes away once treatment is complete. Foods may have a bitter or metallic taste, or simply less taste.

Goto: caring for cancer metallic taste (can't post link on glp)

2)Common complaint of atomic veterans:

I actually experienced an electrical field passing through me; my arm hair stood up and there was a cracking sensation all through me that was as much felt as heard. I knew what this was because I had felt the same effect when in the field of a high- powered radio antenna. There was also a metallic taste in my mouth, like when chewing gum foil touches a tooth filling.

Goto atomic test veterans first hand accounts (again, can't post link)

3)Common complaint of liquidators at Chernobyl:

The Russian scientists and firefighters who fought the Chernobyl fire reported a “metallic taste” in their mouth.
For example, Colonel Grebeniouk – who led the Russian troops in charge of controlling the situation – said:

There was a metallic taste in our mouths, an acidity. They say radiation has no taste. It was only later we realized it was the taste of radioactive iodine.

There is substantial evidence of ongoing nuclear chain reactions. Another piece of evidence – as pointed out by nuclear expert Arnie Gundersen – is that there are widespread anecdotal reports of people in Japan and the West Coast of the United States reporting a metallic taste in their mouths:

Goto: Hot Particles From Japan to Seattle Virtually Undetectable when Inhaled or Swallowed from Fairewinds Associates on Vimeo.

Goto: global research proof of ongoing criticalities at Fukushima

4)Common complaint of people in Tokyo and west coast after Fukushima reactor explosions:

 Quoting: RadChick

Here's a pdf from the DOE stating it will takes billions to clean the gigantic mess they have there:

Finally, even when the planned cleanup has been carried out, billions of dollars and many years will be needed to address areas at the Paducah site that are not in the
cleanup plan. For example, almost 500,000 tons of depleted uranium will need to be converted to a more stable form and removed from the site. In addition, the plan
excludes nearly a million cubic feet of waste and scrap in areas known as DOE Material Storage Areas (DMSA) and 16 unused and inactive buildings and structures.
Some of the waste and scrap material pose a risk of an uncontrolled nuclear reaction that could threaten worker safety. Such a reaction produces a burst of radiation that
generally lasts several hours; it is, however, a localized event that would not result in an explosion or release of radioactivity into the atmosphere. The additional
materials, buildings and structures are excluded from the plan not because they require no action but because they fall under the purview of a different departmental
program.

DISINFO @ PADUCAH - TORNADO DAMAGE & RAD RELEASE

AND...THEY ARE ALREADY LYING ABOUT IT.
******************************************
The sources commenting on the tornado damage at the Paducah processing facility are releasing conflicting statements about the release of dangerous radiation.

He said there was no release of hazardous or radioactive materials, and that the plant’s safety and monitoring systems were in full operation. The damage was to the exterior of the building only, he said.

And then buried in a paragraph and paraphrased in a way that makes no sense whatsoever: The U.S. Department of Energy owns the facility, leasing the plant to USEC. Robert E. Edwards III, deputy manager of the energy department’s Portsmouth Paducah Project Office, said the USEC “did what they needed to do.” Edwards also confirmed releases to the air, water or surrounding grounds and described the damage as minor. wtf

It goes on to say: “We are tracking it and we are in touch with (USEC),” said Buddy Rogers, spokesman for Kentucky Division of Emergency Management. “The warning bells go off when you hear about something like this, but … it was no big deal.”

IT IS A BIG DEAL. As this facility is government owned expect whatever happened there to be lied about and covered up, per usual. Nice try burying it way down in the article. People in this area should contact FEMA and ask for further DETAILED assessment and instructions. HOW is this BEING "TRACKED"???
