Anonymous Coward User ID: 50232440 United Kingdom 11/19/2013 06:56 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Arte Gunderson and Citizen Perth are crying in their beers this morning!! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 50231039 why you say that about the concerned? its a technical nightmare, being operated by ppl that brought the disaster (and anyone tepco can find off street to go in there, would you?) rp if he's so "concerned" why hasn't he posted a thread about to bit of "good" news? cause he's nothing but a fear monger, that's why i dont think he's a deathist. to have fear about the greatest disaster ever that will last 100's of 10000's of years, and who tepco cant find anyone insane enough to clear their mess up is logical fear. the removal/clean up is going go on for years, and tho its a good start (ive not confirmed it), from my experience working with solid fuel power plants, what theyve got over there is the worst technical nightmare any c.e.o. would wish for. it would be bad enough without the radiation. im sure any concerned ppl will be relieved. like me rp |

"I have felt despair many times in my life, but I do not keep a chair for it." ~Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes Today is a gift, that is why it is called "The Present" “When an opponent declares, “I will not come over to your side,” I calmly say, “Your child belongs to us already… What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.” - Adolf Hitler “If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.” -Oscar Wilde Have a nice day, may God bless you :D |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 50166319 Japan 11/19/2013 07:46 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | More for your personal Realitycheck: Q: Around how much cesium-137 has the accident released into the open sea? A: Twelve to 15 petabecquerels (one petabecquerel equals 1,000 trillion becquerels) of cesium-137 released into the atmosphere fell into the Pacific Ocean via rainfall. It is believed that an additional 3.5 petabecquerels flowed into the ocean when water used to cool the melting fuel rods immediately after the accident was contaminated and released. Q: What can we learn by comparing the nuclear accident with the spread of radioactive substances caused by nuclear weapons testing? A: In 1970, a total of 290 petabecquerels of cesium-137 was released in the North Pacific due to nuclear weapons testing. The level was 69 petabecquerels in 2011, after the cesium-137 decayed over its 30-year half-life and some of it flowed into other waters. In comparison, the amount released due to the Fukushima accident is around 15 petabecquerels. [link to ajw.asahi.com] This nasty Americans |

Any numbers you got generated in or from Japan are tainted with Tepco, the inability or shall we shall Japans cultural inclination to lie for prides sake then admit the actual embarrassing truth. And then of course their is the money. We will know more of the truth in the next 3-5 years and no numbers you regurgitate will hide the radiation. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 47778161 United States 11/19/2013 09:21 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Is there anyone present not from TEPCO or the Japanese government present that doesn't have a vested interest in the actual truth of what's happening there? I think not. So before you start backslapping and jumping up and down for joy, just remember you are being told (not seeing) what is happening. The only way we can ever know for sure is by measuring radiation release (if any) because they refuse to let other countries be part of a process where the safety and health of the world is at stake. For all anybody knows they dropped the rods and all hell is breaking loose. How quickly everybody forgets the pattern of lying we have had to be put through. I would like good news and everything to go well but when you are lied to over and over, how do you believe anything they say without it somehow being verified? Trying to demonize Arnie Gundersen and Citizenperth is crazy because they are 2 of the few people that make it their duty to point out the lies and bullshit. They should be commended for all they go through (zombie shill-bots) to make the truth more available. |
