Quoting: Anonymous Coward 50631371 I think he will be shot the same way jfk was. Guess who will be the scapegoat now, this time its not a "communist" inside a library who couldnt shoot 3 times from that angle. I hope this doesnt happen, the actuall pope did more in a christian way than any of the popes before, it seems he is speaking for the poor, but well see! He is the wolf in sheeps clothing. More like the wolf dressed as the shepherd. Keneh |

He isn't against people making reasonable profits. I don't know, if anything the west has come close to striking a balance already but Obamas taking it to far towards communism. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 49614305 Every current system of government is corrupt. Doesn't matter what they call themselves all politicians are self serving money grabbers. Money is the root of all evil in the world. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 49673126 United States 11/26/2013 08:26 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | He's calling for Christians to... Act like Christians. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 49673126 Christ wasn't a supporter of power structures; he was a rebel for the poor and down-trodden. Stop trying to support these fake ideas about Christ; he was the closest thing to communist, as communes *share*. Do you even understand what communion is? This anti-Christ Baptist crap needs to go away. Listen, dumbass, I've volunteered my time to go help feed the poor in soup kitchens, serving them leftover food donated from local businesses and casseroles donated by local families. That's not communism because it's voluntary charity. That's people helping people. That's free market. That's how it's supposed to be done. It's not supposed to be some schmuck like you telling me how I can spend my own money because of some moral complex you concocted in your head. It's not equality when one person is dictating to another. Dumbass? Schmuck? Heh... No, I'm just a fool who believes money is what divides us. Even the death of Christ highlights the plight that money causes among even our closest associations. Christ wasn't promoting free market capitalism, he was promoting community through knowledge *and* charity. I'm not telling you how to spend your money or your free time based on morality. I'm merely defining money as the bondage that keeps Christian ideas from being practiced as a core belief, because money keeps us in it's grasp by feeding our animalistic tendencies. We give money it's power, and in turn we hand our souls, free-will, and destiny to those who have the most influence over it. Though, I completely understand you, and I agree. Giving "free money" to people who are poor isn't a solution to poverty, because it keeps them locked in the cycle. Giving them charity and knowledge to support themselves is the way. Look up Linux. It's a community of shared ideas, and it allows for anyone skilled in programming to know what is going on beneath the surface. It's a very communist-like. Now look at Windows or MacOS. It's compiled with back doors straight to the NSA. Essentially, you're paying people to spy on you. How evil is that? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 2268641 Canada 11/26/2013 08:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There's nothing wrong with capitalism. And Jesus certainly did not mean that those of us who work/ed to earn a living should put our money and possessions into one pot so that someone who is too lazy to work may enjoy the benefits. Share and help the unfortunate; but working to support freeloaders is not Biblical. Communism or communal sharing takes away our God-given incentive to work and be creative. It may be the Jesuit way, but (big surprise) this is something else Catholic that's not in the Bible. Let Francis be poor if he wants to, but he's got no right to bring poverty upon the rest of us, because that's what "income equality" is. Jesus said there would always be poor people; you can't be poor unless someone else is rich. This guy is not my spiritual leader, so his RCC members can share their wealth if they feel inclined, but leave the rest of us out of this. |
