OP the Jews didn't compile the Books of the Bible the Romans did.

By saying that the Book of Enoch was "Left Out" what you are doing is saying that your God is fallible.

We as human physical beings must be translated into spiritual beings to be present in Heaven.

Likewise angels, being spiritual beings of the Heavenly realm, have to be translated to exist in the physical realm.

In their natural estate (spiritual) they don't have sex.

Translated to the physical they would be capable.

Jesus insinuated that angels can't procreate in the New Testament when he said ....humans will be as angels in heaven and not married

the sepent seed doctrine explains who the daughters of men are and why when the sons of God slept with them it produced giants

Is it the forbidden fruit that allures you?

If it is rejected as false, then it must be right?

The same church that "rejected it as false" also rejects the immaculate conception of Christ in favor of Mary and the teaching of Christ for that of the Pope.

ETA: I don't feel obsessed by it, I feel it supplies information that is somewhat important but not essential to those of faith. It's illuminating yes. Crucial? No.

It is interesting to see this thread today, seeing as how I ordered the 'Complete Books of Enoch' by Dr. A. Nyland a couple of months ago, I only read a small portion of it then and hadn't looked at it since then only to find myself drawn to it earlier today, then what do you know, here is this thread.

The book of enoch says nothing about hybid nephilim walking the earth today. The book specifically states that they are all DEAD. What remains of them are their spirits which shall bring destruction upon humanity until the consummation of the ages. The book is used by sorcerers and magicians to gain an understanding of the spiritual world. The 'people' who were once called sons of God are dead, their legacy is the things they brought into this world... IE: statism, government, sorcery, magic, idolatry, murder, war, etc... Those things are the spirits of the nephilim, they are the spirits of man birthed by our ego (aka the devil, the flesh, pan, prometheus, etc...) Demonology has more to do with modern psychology than anything else. Drop the superstition and fantasy.
