Question about comets?????
In ancient drawings of comets they all have tails. It's only been a few hundred years since we have been able to magnify the our sight. These objects must have gotten real close to earth for them to have seen them. I have still not seen one with my naked eye in my life time. Your thoughts?????

Their sky's were pitch black and their eye's were more accustomed to seeing in low light conditions since all they had to work with were oil lamps and candles.
