Saying that tho ...both OSU and FSU strength of schedule is ranked in the 60s and both Auburn and Alabamas is in the top 30 ...so I do think either would beat an ACC or Big Ten champ ....both are extremely weak conferences

Agree, Auburn has had a few fluke games. They are not yet a smooth running machine. I see them loosing next game.

With a 4 team playoff:

1. Florida St.
2. Ohio St.
3. Auburn
4. Alabama

Game 1, Alabama beats Florida St
Game 2, Auburn beats Ohio St

Game 3 Iron Bowl II

There isn't a 4 team playoff, Duke will not beat Florida St.

The SEC is garbage. People are crazy saying the Big 10 teams don't play anybody in comparison to them.

Auburn played Washington State, Florida Atlantic, Western Carolina and Arkansas State.

Bama played Virginia Tech, Chattanooga, Colorado State and Georgia State.

Ohio State played California, San Diego State, Buffalo and Florida A&M.

There is no real difference. If anything Ohio State played the better competition. Cal is a Pac12 team and S.D. St. is an upper tier MWC team.

Michigan State played Notre Dame, South Florida, Western Michigan and Youngstown State. That is again, tougher than any of the Alabama schools played. The #1 independent and South Florida is a legit AAC team.

S. Florida did not play well this year and neither did Cal but it is pretty clear on paper that the Big 10 was playing way more bigger setting teams than the SEC. Heck, Northwestern beat up California, Syracuse, Western Michigan and Maine. Penn St. played Syracuse and Central Florida. Wisconsin played Arizona State and BYU. Michigan played ND and UCONN. Illinois played Cincinnati and whooped them as well as Washington. Purdue played ND and Cincy. Indiana plaed Mizzou and Navy.

what is the excuse for a team like Alabama to be playing a team like Chattanooga so late in the season? Why can't Bama or Auburn play at least 2 decent teams in the non conference like so many Big 10 teams did? Are they that cowardly or what? Do they expect everything given to them without having to earn it? The state of Alabama has the worst non conference scheduling of a couple major teams this season. Neither of them deserve a damn thing except what they will get. A BCS bowl outside the title game.

Why do you think Meyer left the Sec ? ....because it extremely difficult to go undefeated and get into the Nc game ......what's ironic is they changed to the playoff system after he left Florida so he better when it this year cause no way ohio will be able to maneuver thru a playoff system and have to beat SEC teams back to back
