Quoting: train That’s exactly the word Dr. Don Huber used. But are we listening? Calling glyphosate ”the most toxic chemical we’ve ever had in our environment, he says that “future historians may well look back upon our time and write, not about how many pounds of pesticides we did or did not apply, but about how willing we were to sacrifice our children and jeopardize future generations for the massive experiment we call genetic engineering that is based on failed promises and flawed science, just to benefit the bottom line of a commercial enterprise.” snip: [link to www.wakingtimes.com] Just a slower doom here, but much more painful. I have developed Parkinson's at age 45, it has been determined that my childhood and adult years exposed to roundup has caused my illness. I knew it was a bad product and I always wore protective gloves and goggles when using it but, it managed to attach to my clothing and enter my pores when I started to sweat. I have contacted an attorney and I am currently working on a suit that would make the makers of this product responsible for medical illness due to the use of there product. I am not suing for financial gain so any money that may be received will be donated to the Parkinson's foundation and the Cancer treatment centers. I am looking for others with similar stories and those that can prove this product caused them illness... |

Roundup is made from plants, it has a toxicity rating of 3, from a scale of 1-5(5 being the least dangerous). It is the less dangerous of all other herbicides. Also, there are no signs of roundup after two weeks.. Anyone who would use roundup in their home garden or on any other commercial farm which grows edible food is a complete fucking moron though.. It is not to be used on vegetation which is grown for consumption, only on corn crops and such that are used for fuel. Get a fucking grip! You full of shit bub. Roundup is sprayed on all the GMO food. |

We use it in our pasture. A mixture of half water, half vinegar, and a tsp. of dish soap to make it stick works wonders and it's cheap. We put that mixture in a sprayer and away we go. |

"Glyphosate and AMPA are not likely to move to ground water due to their strong adsorptive characteristics. However, glyphosate does have the potential to contaminate surface waters due to its aquatic use patterns and through erosion, as it adsorbs to soil particles suspended in runoff. If glyphosate reached surface water, it would not be broken down readily by water or sunlight" Read, Fucktard! So where does the surface water end up? |

A new study published in the journal Drug Design, Development and Therapy titled, "Glyphosate and AMPA inhibit cancer cell growth through inhibiting intracellular glycine synthesis", claims that it "provides the first evidence that glyphosate and AMPA [a glyphosate metabolite] can inhibit proliferation and promote apoptosis of cancer cells but not normal cells, suggesting that they have potentials to be developed into a new anticancer therapy." Now, juxtapose to this study – which incidentally claims to have no conflicts of interest and is funded by the Department of Defense – one published in the journal Food and Chemical Toxicology earlier this year, titled "Glyphosate induces human breast cancer cells growth via estrogen receptors," which found that the world's most popular herbicide was capable of driving estrogen receptor mediated breast cancer cell proliferation within the infinitesimal parts per trillion concentration range.".... more on link. All glper's would be wise to study up on true cancer cures. It's alarming that most of the populous STILL believes in the profit driven 'medical model'... it's become like a religion. Work smart, not hard. I am picking up everyone's mulch now. They bag it up and set it out on the street. I ride by, throw it in the back of my truck, then spread it on my beds. put them leaves on your sweet potatoes. The extra heat it traps in will make them grow bigger. U can use mulch to cover the stocks of your normal potatoes so more roots can grow as the plants get taller. Kill the weeds and get better crops |

When I suggested he find an alternative that was less lethal, he insisted that Roundup is VERY safe and doesn't hurt humans at all. He died three years ago of pancreatic cancer. There may be no causation but I'm just mentioning. He was an otherwise healthy man, played tennis three times a week, never smoked, had an occasional glass of wine, ideal weight, ate lots of vegies and healthy food. No reason really for him to get cancer. |
