Uh, yes. We are not actually evil like the media say.

A fundamentalist is a label that differentiates Christians from 'liberal' ones. Liberals do not have a set belief system, and think that God changes his mind. Fundamentalist hold to certain basics/essentials that they will never swerve from, like the belief in the trinity, Jesus' death on the cross, his resurrection, his eventual return, the Bible as the Word of God, - basics - fundamentals that are not given up. Other things, like the Creation are not fundamentals and are often viewed as allegory, or parables.

An Evangelical simply believes in sharing the gospel, doing missionary work, community outreach.

None of these things should be a problem for anyone. Sometimes preachers rub people wrong, but that is probably because they are of a different culture (ie Falwell and Robertson come from the South) and seem annoying. I'm sure Rick Warren, Chuck Smith, Greg Laurie (more Evie Fundies) don't rub many wrong, seeing he came from Southern California.

It takes all types, you know!

Hey Tomek! We're all Kingfishers matey! The trouble is not many people have their foot in the spirit world, very few of us experience it. Thats why its so difficult to relay the message to the normal minded who just go about their business. They do not understand the controls of the spirit world and their influences on us.

The problem with that piece is that it confuses two term:


Dominionism

Fundamentalism


They are quite different. As I said earlier, fundamentalism just states certain essentials, certain basics.

Dominionism is what I believe they are actually referring to. It is a heresy in Christianity that says this: "Jesus will not return until we have made the world ready for Him." Of course, this means that there must be some kind of theocracy in place for Jesus to return. The good news is that there are few who believe this. The bad news is that these few have power in the United States.

I am NOT a Dominionist. Pat Robertson is one, and many of the 'NeoCons' are as well.

It was something he promised and Christians finally got. Now that we have it, we will probably go back to Christian basics (a la Rick Warren, etal) and will probably abandon politics completely.

Jesus is not coming back Kay.

Now that the Supreme Court has a majority for curtailing abortion on demand, you will see the 'Fundamentalists' go away.

It will take a few years to get rid of Roe vs Wade, (ie the new South Dakota law) but the fight is over.

You will see a resurgence in helping the poor, the elderly, the mission field. Politics will be dead.

one of this is that God sai he put punishment on others mean on other schristains for others christains ignorantion untill this first group and she will not stop ignore this that God came here and said to us what it shopuld be done here fast in this case and we know why it was the truth .
