Kay User ID: 72054 United States 06/01/2006 07:41 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ========== Uh, yes. We are not actually evil like the media say. A fundamentalist is a label that differentiates Christians from 'liberal' ones. Liberals do not have a set belief system, and think that God changes his mind. Fundamentalist hold to certain basics/essentials that they will never swerve from, like the belief in the trinity, Jesus' death on the cross, his resurrection, his eventual return, the Bible as the Word of God, - basics - fundamentals that are not given up. Other things, like the Creation are not fundamentals and are often viewed as allegory, or parables. An Evangelical simply believes in sharing the gospel, doing missionary work, community outreach. None of these things should be a problem for anyone. Sometimes preachers rub people wrong, but that is probably because they are of a different culture (ie Falwell and Robertson come from the South) and seem annoying. I'm sure Rick Warren, Chuck Smith, Greg Laurie (more Evie Fundies) don't rub many wrong, seeing he came from Southern California. It takes all types, you know! "See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ." (Colossians 2:8) |

If that day comes, I will be proud. I think the Europeans wanted the land. Now that the Fund/Evan Christians got what they wanted out of George Bush, we have no use for him whatsoever. Notice how he lost his base? He is no Christian, but he did give us what we wanted. Can you guess what it is? "They did not die in vein" Let's just say we agree to disagree and leave it at that. Meanwhile continue with the worship of your idol. |

BLUESTAR User ID: 100734 United Kingdom 06/01/2006 07:56 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Whats this? pick on Tomek day?? Give the guy a break guys! Hey Tomek! We're all Kingfishers matey! The trouble is not many people have their foot in the spirit world, very few of us experience it. Thats why its so difficult to relay the message to the normal minded who just go about their business. They do not understand the controls of the spirit world and their influences on us. So, dig in and prepare for the long haul! Truth always wins in the end! |

Kay User ID: 72054 United States 06/01/2006 07:58 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The problem with that piece is that it confuses two term: Dominionism Fundamentalism They are quite different. As I said earlier, fundamentalism just states certain essentials, certain basics. Dominionism is what I believe they are actually referring to. It is a heresy in Christianity that says this: "Jesus will not return until we have made the world ready for Him." Of course, this means that there must be some kind of theocracy in place for Jesus to return. The good news is that there are few who believe this. The bad news is that these few have power in the United States. I am NOT a Dominionist. Pat Robertson is one, and many of the 'NeoCons' are as well. "See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ." (Colossians 2:8) |
Kay User ID: 72054 United States 06/01/2006 08:00 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It was something he promised and Christians finally got. Now that we have it, we will probably go back to Christian basics (a la Rick Warren, etal) and will probably abandon politics completely. "See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ." (Colossians 2:8) |

Kay User ID: 72054 United States 06/01/2006 08:02 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | All right, you won't guess. Now that the Supreme Court has a majority for curtailing abortion on demand, you will see the 'Fundamentalists' go away. It will take a few years to get rid of Roe vs Wade, (ie the new South Dakota law) but the fight is over. You will see a resurgence in helping the poor, the elderly, the mission field. Politics will be dead. And now, goodnight all. It's 5 am here, just got up for a few minutes to get a drink of water and look what happened to me! I ended up stuck here! Always telling people "PRECISELY" what they need. Whether they need it or not. Ya know, If I was Jesus and came back seeing all you guys wearing a crucifix ( the very thing you nailed him to ) I'd shit myself and go back home before they did it again. I'm sure he wants to be reminded of that. |

I get the impression that you are asking for physical help to free the people who are being tortured for lack of a better word by the practicing catholics there. They/You are being punished by them because you have ideas contrary to what they teach. You beleive they are evil because of what they have done to people there. Does what I'm saying have any truth in it?? Ominous regressions One Truth... many realities |
