(i had a grandmother that couldn't speak a lick of english...so i tried to think of his typing as her talking and understood more than...some.) |

Our drummer was a KGB agent, just an guardian angel. One night, of the day my wife came to visit for a week, we decided to take run. We did, with 50$ to our name, leaving all our possession behind in appartament in Warsaw, Poland. To make a story short, after a year in Paris, where we was awaithing our Political Refugee Status, we got it, and in November 16, 1976 I had kissed the tarmack of JFK airport. The rest is a history. Never been in Poland since. My wife left me three months later for American Jeweler from NY. Funny how my life took turn because of this.... Kay User ID: 72054 United States 06/01/2006 08:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The most difficult religion facing Christianity is Islam. New Age is still very small movement compared to other religions. That is my opinion, of course. And yes, I disagree, but that is not the worst thing in the world is it? To disagree about religion? Well, maybe Muslims would not agree with that, I suppose. |
salimandr User ID: 100859 United States 06/01/2006 08:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | FearNot, you couldn't experience validation of your inner feelings? or is it that you couldn't act on them? i think each person has to learn and do for themselves, no matter where there location may be physically. books...may bring added information...but where "religion" is concerned...it usually ends up creating more questions than answers ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kay, why do you separate muslims? why not say buddhists? why not lutherans? protestants? calvinites? or the other plethora of "religious" titles? better yet...why separate to begin with? and yes, you can disagree...and if you have better information...that i can read/look up/whatever...i'll welcome it. i just wonder why you have always (and if it could be looked up, you would see) disagree with me or what i say? i don't understand... |

salimandr User ID: 100859 United States 06/01/2006 09:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Kay, you said: "Because many muslims have declared war on christianity." hmmm. "some" muslims may not be "for" christianity...just as "some" christians may not be for islam. unless it's "politically inspired" i think most over the world are simply trying to live their lives. i remember the day bush declared his "crusade". sad day for the world. imho. "You aren't denying this are you?" are you denying that Christianity is (and has been in history) waring against islam, paganism, satanism, new age, wicca, etc? it still doesn't take away what i heard and read about christianity and new ageism. "The facts show it to be different in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Sudan, Afghanistan, and on and on...." it's easy to choose islamic countries and say they don't like christianity. seems "christian" cultures don't like other "religions" either...eh? what is it about other religions that scares christians so much? what is so intriguing about other religions that so many are drawn away from "christianity"? you haven't answered my question...yet. |
