The Mayan Long Count formula decoded at last!

I believe I found a confirmation that the Mayan Long Count of 1872000 days have to do with the alignments of Jupiter, Venus, Mercury, and the Moon with respect to the Earth and the Sun. (The Moon is included in the alignment as the calendar should start on a new Moon).

But first keep in mind that the Mayans as well as the Aztecs divided the precession of the equinoxes into 5 periods, corresponding to 5 suns/worlds/creations:


Why divide the precession of the equinoxes into 5 equal periods? Because the pentagram is sacred to the Mayans as this is the image traced by the successive inferior conjunctions of Venus with Earth.

The Long Count calculated by the Mayans was such that in every alignment of Jupiter, Venus, Mercury, and the Moon every 1872000 days, Venus alternates from being in inferior conjunction (Venus is between Earth and the Sun) and in superior conjunction (Sun is between Venus and the Earth).

Now here is the formula for the Long Count used by the Mayans:

Long count = (Jupiter/5)(0.5Venus/5)(Mercury/5)(Moon/5)

where Jupiter = 4332.590 days orbital period
Venus = 224.701 days orbital period
Mercury = 87.969 days orbital period
Moon = 27.322 days orbital period

Venus orbital period was multiplied by 0.5 or by one half to make Venus's position in the alignment to alternate from inferior conjunction to superior conjunction.

All the orbital period were divided by 5 to make the alignment point to 5 different positions in the celestial sphere, thereby tracing a pentagram.

Long count = (4332.590/5)(0.5*224.701/5)(87.969/5)(27.322/5)

Long Count = 1871908.9780791

now compare this to the actual Mayan value of 1872000.

The difference is only -91.0219209 days or -0.004862282099359% error!
