I'm not sure about this. Generally, it is a good thing to have re-wilding projects. Animals have to live somewhere. It is their land, they were there before the humans. On the other hand, with all the state sponsored destruction and pollution going on, I question their good intentions.

They are only scared if they get shot at. And they are protected. Animals are much smarter than we know (read "The Elephant Whisperer). They know they are safe.

That article's got a political axe to grind, and has nothing whatsoever to do with the facts of this incident. It's hung it's hat on this incidence.

Facts say it ain't wolves, period, and had nothing to do with wolves. Nobody but that article is saying it was wolves, or implying that it was wolves...they don't know what happened. They do know that at least one of the women died from exposure/dehydration.

The gals were found in the lava-flows of Craters of the Moon...hardly wolf habitat.

Now, one might wonder if that article is so much smoke to deflect thoughts away from real issues.
