It stopped working in the browser, so I tried a few other programs. I then rebooted and couldn't log into the computer because it effected the password as well. Ok I want you to try something won't cost you anything but time. From your log in screen I want you to do a hard reset meaning pull your plug ins so there is no power source running to the computer and then hold that power button down until the screen goes blank. Your computer should click and then go black. Turn your case over and undo the screws to the battery pack and completely disconnect and pull the battery. Insert it back in and then try and fire it up and see if the keys work then. Thanks! I'll give you an update once everything is back up. Probably later tonight, my friend is using the computer now and I don't want to get into it with them. So as soon as they finish I'm in like Flynn. Until then, stuck on the tablet...good times. Ha. Lol me too I'll check back in the morning. Good luck! Ha! Have to love it. *grin* Sounds good, hopefully it'll be up and rolling and I'll have a warm cup of Joe to start your day off on the right foot. Thanks again, have a good night. |
Heavenly Alchemy (OP) User ID: 35266095 ![]() 12/12/2013 12:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I randomly pressed keys and now some keys work while others don't. The back key stopped working for a minute but I somehow got it working again. While trying to get the key working again by pressing keys another key stopped working. Quoting: Heavenly Alchemy I've searched online and the only answers are regarding spills or crumbs, shorted keys I know that isn't any of those issues because I was able to get keys work. Please help. ![]() did u activate a function key? usually in orange or blue? They work when pressed at the same time. It's possible, it's in the area I brushed over with my fingers. How could I find out if that's the issue? If you do unplug your keyboard, make sure your computer is turned off. My keyboard won't work, unless my computer is turned off before I plug it back in. Thanks, that's important! ![]() |
