My cat bites but not in a malicious way. I actually thinks he's telling me he likes me and he's happy. Only cat out probably 20 I've had that's does that. He'll nip my leg when I'm putting food out for him. He'll nip my hand when I'm petting him. don't think he realizes how hard he's biting but he's not intending to hurt me and I don't get freaked out about it. Doesn't sound like your cat's intending to hurt you. Eventually the cat will understand you don't like that. Love it and be patient.
