My second thought here is this could be a confused male cat trying to fuck your wrist in a dog like display of hierarchy. The finger biting thing is left over instinct from cat sex. You have a cat/dog. Research is your friend . I did none here.

yes well he was first on my lap playing then I stopped petting him ...he bit me meowed then ran off...but he has stalked me before and I told him to stop it, they stalk a lot well this one does...and we have stuffed fake mice for him on strings and birds on strings...cats a very strong male tom cat

He's a tom cat? That kind of explains it. Don't expect 100% docile behavior from a tom cat. I've got a feral Tom who I have been feeding outside for over five years, and I still can't pet him. He's a beauty, a really fine guy.

He is but I do get the feeling he stalks my hands when I pet him ....so I tell him no...then pet him on his head...or I wont pet him at all...

Cats bite. It's no big deal. They give off signals before they do, usually. Most of the time is if they think you're playing, or you pet them too long, or at a wrong angle or some stupid thing, and you piss them off.

My cat was a declawed stray when I found him, and so he got into the habit of biting for defense. He nips me when we're playing, but he'll bite hard (draws blood and everything) if he misinterprets what I'm doing and gets defensive. He's a good boy, though. Love the little bastard.
