I don't care what they claim. They did not land a rover on the moon. You realize when it comes to technology, it's far easier and affordable to use camera tricks, cgi, and actors to convince the world you've achieved something incredible than it is to achieve something incredible.

Because the moon is an alien space station with giant mining machines crawling on the surface, spaceships parked in craters, bases, towers and shit. They can't allow this stuff being aired on national TV, so they have a studio-made landing for the show, while the real deal is being secretly monitored.
