op i come from a military family and never served. im looked down upon for it but they can enjoy their broken bodies, ptsd and memories of friends getting killed.

just dont go in the marines if you decide to join. they're all a bunch of fat lazy asses.

I did and I learned very quickly I wasn't serving my country. The only regret I have for it though was not taking advantage of all the survival skill training when it was offered.

I often say I wish I had joined the military. Either the airforce as a pilot or the Navy as a medical officer.....one of my great regrets.

You should regret thinking serving in the military has anything to do with serving your country......

I'm so proud of my husband for serving in the special forces. He volunteered to go to war while all the "patriots" hid from the draft in his country. Fucking pussies, he still has resentments towards people that claim their country is this and that and when it comes down to it, wouldn't put their life on the line, not even for their own families.

My only regret is my country isn't worth serving. I have no issue protecting my boarders but I wont go to another country and kill people for some greedy prick to line his pockets.
