I don't blame them for being paranoid about the helmet leak issue, that is some scary shit, dude could have died.
Bringing a corpse back down from the ISS would be... pretty grim to say the least.
I was pretty cavalier about the pump leak when it happened, but they're under a bit of pressure now I suspect what with the suit issue on top of this.
I think this EVA expedition will be more tense than many of us thought.

IMO they shouldn't send other astronauts out in an EVA to fix the pump, without having fixed the suit leaking issue. The Soyuz carrier rocket can now dock with the ISS in less than 24 hrs, why they didn't request new suits before going out for this EVA?? I think they are facing larger issues. For whatever reasons, sending up more suits might not be possible. The systems that allow coming/going crafts might not be operational. As they had to shut down lots of stuff.
