Is anybody else experiencing excessive static elictricity?

YES!!! I have been experiencing this something AWFUL!!! In my house with the microwave, stove, and many other things. I was complaining to my son about it and it is weird because it only happens to me and not to him.

Yeah, I've been shocked a lot more than usual the past few days. Very strange.

I was removing my wall-mounted tv hanger yesterday to move it across the room.

strangely after everything had been unplugged for a while and I was removing the lag bolts in the walls. the first bolt arched a small charge from the ratchet to the bolt head. I had been working on wood floors the whole time. and the bolt was only in wood framing, not grounded.

I thought it was pretty weird..

Yes! The last couple days when touching my door handle I've been getting a shock. I have no idea what started it.

It struck me as really odd it just started doing that.

Ive never had my cotton t shirts get all staticky and spark, ever. I take the shirt off every day on my walks to get some sun and i get repeatedly shocked by the static!! Just started recently, oP is onto something, im in northern california

Yes definitely...especially when I kiss my girlfriend...that never used to happen. Also other things causing static that has never before. Also feels like the static is stronger than average too...
