I am just having a quiet break between my summer semester university classes. Peace and quiet by myself. My kids are all overseas this year. I just sat my final coding exam yesterday and am awaiting the results. Likely I will get them sometime today our professor is very good at getting marks back to us promptly.

I only ever had holiday celebrations for the kids when they were little. Since they have grown I don't even bother.

I would much rather give someone I love a present spontaneously during the year, because I love them and saw something I knew they would love - then feel obligated to give something because consumerism says I should feel pressured to.
