Have confirmed ppl from vaughan to barrie have heard it.

What part of southern Ontario O.P? Toronto or Michigan?

I am in Barrie about 30mins north of toronto.

People went outside to see if Ice or trees had fallen on their roofs. Reports from Vaughan to Barrie so far. And there were 2. One very loud one that shook houses and a second 20mins later that was lighter but also shook houses.

How exactly is Barrie Southern Ontario? Anything below London I would say is southern Ontario but Barrie are you kidding me?

I am between Barrie and Toronto, I didn't hear a thing. We do have our generator running though. We lost power on Sunday morning and don't expect to have it back until the 28th.

Must be in the east end huh? Hang in there! This was around 10pm and easily mistaken for ice or tree branch hitting the roof. It shook houses from vaughan to Barrie.

I'm also from Sarnia.

The Kingston Whig reported a loud boom at 2 AM last night.

a family member living in Virginia just called and said they saw a yellowish flash in the sky, cloudless starry night, no boom either, they had no idea what it was. it flashed from the left side of their window to the right side. wtf could it be...

I'll second that. I was born and raised in Sarnia, haven't lived there since 1984.

Several reports of enormous boom heard in Newmarket and Markham about 11:00 pm. Dec. 24. Some heard second lesser bang about 20 minutes later.
