GPS Earthquake Prediction

I was just reading this a bit earlier and didn't find it in the search.

It makes me wonder if anyone is watching the New Madrid and LA sinkhole areas. I know they wouldn't say anything as they can watch it, and predict a magnitude, but no timeframe.
