China wants revenge on the West for the opium wars, which were really about sliver. All of the sliver was flowing into China and nothing was flowing out. So the West basically attacked in a round about way. Now gold flows into China from there exports and they only need to import oil, the one thing that they would need to let gold go for. The West makes plans from year to year we have very short attention spans, the East makes multigenerational plans and sees them through.

Start looking for the western powers to start agitating the youth of China into a revolution. Full frontal war in todays age is just to dangerous.
