In Desert Storm, my small 12 man Team was 600 miles North of Support Units and we would get airdrops of MRE's and Water. These bloated with (Bacteria) in the heat, where way outdated (Expired) and mostly uneatable. I went over there 167 lbs, full of muscle with Muscles Hard as a Rock, (Folks would literally ....Knock... On me) and just say "Wow".... I came back after the War, 97 lbs, thin as a rail, skin patches and clumps of hair missing. I am the only living survivor of my Team from Desert Storm, the last one died in 2001. I'll post the Chow dipper story to my face book....thanks I too am a Texan ;-) Last Edited by Lupe_Ate_My_Tacos on 01/01/2014 10:03 AM One Tequila! Two Tequila! Three Tequila, ...... Floor! |
