Please tell me you're not on Roatan. I am SUPPOSED to live there but I'm here in the cold.

How is it in Honduras? What do you do there? How's the economy?

The islands are part of Honduras. They were a British possession until the 1860's.
Here is a brief history of the Bay Islands:

The economies depend on fishing and tourism. No big stores or drive thru fast food on the islands. People are very friendly and beautiful. Most speak English.

Because about two weeks before I was going to leave my girlfriend informed me she was pregnant. Now I'm married and have a 3 year old. Eventually I hope to leave my wife and bring my daughter to Roatan to live. It's a great place to be and you're lucky. Of course by the time I get there I'm afraid it will be like the Bahamas or something. Maybe Utila is better. Do they still have the Bojangles on Roatan?

I lived in a nice climate place once but all the Secret Police and bombings made life unpleasant.

The Caribbean is nice too, but many islands are like war zones, there is so much crime.
