Re: What does a gift from Jesus Christ look like?
What is Christ Jesus' Gift to you, if you never can bring yourself to manifest your heart Unto The Father?

Figure that 'cause you Claim HIM and Love HIM so, that HE Knows your heart? NOT according to HIS Witness In The Scriptures...

Christ Jesus Made HIS Sacrifice To Enable you to Come Unto The Father and Abide In-HIM and With HIM while you live on this earth. God The Father Has Called your heart, IF you Know WHO Jesus IS; and if you fail to answer HIS Call, you spurn Jesus' Sacrifice.

Has it ever seemed to you, that there was more? That God IS Worthy of your Complete Trust and Confidence?

Well, there is more... The Father Wants To Know you Personally and Directly, to Guide your life IN HIS Will; if you will allow HIM. It is To Enable This Life For You that Jesus Suffered and was Killed. Knowing God and Being With HIM while you still walk and breathe is what Jesus Gave All To Enable.

Might want to read John chapter 17. Jesus' Prayer For HIS Remnant. Does HE Witness what your life is about in there? Do you KNOW and Live what HE Witnesses there? IF not, it is because you have yet to manifest your heart Unto The Father.

"Marvel not that I say unto you, YE Must BE Born-Again!" John 3:7

Says to Nicodemus 3x that he must be Born-Again, but Nic don't get it...

How much do you really Love God?
Enough to Trust HIM Fully and Completely with every aspect of your life?
Enough to motivate you to Take Action NOW and tell HIM so this very moment???

Re: What does a gift from Jesus Christ look like?
From Ezekiel ch 36:
26. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Only The Father Gives us our Born-Again Heart, A NEW Heart Of HIS Flesh... Only The Father Enables us to KNOW and DO HIS Will and live without sin. Jesus Enabled OUR WAY Unto The Father.

"...No man Cometh Unto The Father But BY ME!" John 14:6

Then there is Jesus Parable/Witness of The King's Wedding Feast For HIS Son...

Matthew 22

1. And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,
2. The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,

3. And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
4. Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
5. But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
6. And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
7. But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

8. Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
9. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
10. So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.

11. And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
12. And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

14. For many are called, but few are chosen.

Know WHO Jesus IS? Jesus Witnesses that Peter's Knowledge of WHO HE IS, (Matt 16:13-19) is Knowledge Only GIVEN BY HIS Father...

Know WHO Jesus IS?
Then, The Father Has Called Your Heart.

Have you ever replied or even acknowledged HIM?
Are you like the unworthy guest who never replied to The King's Invitation To HIS Wedding Feast?

You are!

Gotta have your Wedding Garment to stay with The King.
Your Born-Again Heart is your wedding garment.

Got one of those?
That's THE GIFT Jesus Gave HIS Life To Enable.

Christ Jesus and Father-God Suffered beyond any comprehension you can have to Enable The WAY.

Get Born-Again; Know first-hand the horror that God Has Delivered you from by Giving You A NEW Heart Of HIS Flesh and you will begin to understand that Jesus' Separation From The Father, as HE hung on the cross, was HIS Real Suffering and that The Father Suffered also.

All To Enable you to Abide In and With Them!

Until you surrender your self and your will Unto The Father, your invitation to Abide With HIM remains unanswered.

I would "cringe" also if my prospects were only to hear:
"... Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment?"

13. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

14. For many are called, but few are chosen.

Irish? From that great bastion of Christianity, Ireland? Your Nation was really something before the roman catholic bastards came... but really, Why Cringe when you can decide to Trust God Fully, Take Action and Live With HIM Forever?

Jesus Witnesses in John 17 that HIS People are Preserved against all evil. What is there to cringe from there?

Can't make your surrender Unto The Father if you are some kind of cringing dog though. Nobody with a True Heart "cringes". If you Love and Trust God, you give your all Unto HIM and do so without cringing. Whatever HE Wills For You is Right and Just. You deserve any chastisement. You even KNOW Innately that you are unworthy of HIM on any level... Still, you Trust HIM Fully and Accept HIS Will no matter what it may be because that is the nature of Love and submission.

Re: What does a gift from Jesus Christ look like?
Here is what THE GIFT of Christ Jesus "looks like"..

Here is John ch 14. Look at how after all they've been through With HIM, even The Apostles really don't KNOW... Look at Jesus' exasperation. Must have made HIM very weary, but HE Was/IS ALL About Doing HIS Father's Will..

John 14
1. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

5. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

8. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
10. Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

11. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
12. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
15. If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17. Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
19. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

20. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

21. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

22. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

23. Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
25. These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
26. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

27. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
28. Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
29. And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
30. Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
31. But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

Gifts from the Lord are like having good grandparents & knowing them for over 30 years. Having material things that have much history and are of exceedingly good quality. Rarely being hungry. Being surrounded by nature that worships the Lord constantly. The promise of seeing Him beyond the veil soon.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 52752501

The possibility of truth is what's making you cringe. Try it out. Experiment. Play with it. The purpose is for you to enjoy your life with ceasing for all eternity. I'm serious, brother. For real.

An encounter with the Father precedes an encounter with Jesus, Holy Yeshua, Savior of All Us Peoples. That means you can seek to know God or he can come into your life like a time bomb seeking to overwhelm your urge to die, your urge to desensitize yourself, your urge to go to sleep.

In case you didn't read GraceBear's post, here ya go:

Believe it. Receive it. It Manifests.
The Christian life isn't about struggling and asking God to give you healing.
To give you abundance. To free you from sin.. etc.

You are on the RIGHT TRACK, my friend!

Want to know why I say that?

Because you found the keys to the kingdom!

I doubt I have to tell you just how much Jesus loves you and how much the kingdom rejoices over your renewal.

The Awakening is coming, my friend! The Spirit is moving over the Waters of this great Spiritual Flood of Darkness that has shattered the power of God's Holy People.

The Power of God is bursting out across the land through every nook, every cranny, every crevice like cracks in a wall of darkness.

It's time to stop being basketheaded Christians! Remember that what God loves most is our hearts! What God KNOWS is our HEARTS! His law is written on our Hearts!

The mind of Christ is a heart-mind, friends! We have to turn our thinking upside down. You know why? Because the world's upside down! It's being said in a million different ways by billions of people, so let's hear the ones who say they've got an answer!

I haven't seen a good solid Christian for a long time, but the guy who really handed me the keys was Todd White. Everyone whose interested in the Pure Holy Fire Gospel of Godly Love check out The Todd White Archive on YouTube.

I saw Todd's episode on Sid Roth's It's Supernatural during a very dark time in my spiritual journey and didn't quite know what to think of it. Well once I started listening to Todd preach I had to keep coming back for more and every single thing I've heard him say breaths the Truth, Love, and Light of Yeshua's Divine Holy Spirit into my heart.

The passionate heartcry of Love will not be suppressed and the Assassins of Shame will be repelled with impunity from Our Father Yahweh's Holy Firestorm of Love and Purity!

I still feel in my heart that I need to elaborate on this to clarify what I mean.

I had seen some good solid Christians, but I didn't recognize them. Todd's voice carried so deeply into the recesses of my heart that it gave me the mustard seed I needed to burst the thickly coated layers of filth covering my heart, my HEART! The LIFE OF MY WILL, GUYS! That's what your heart is to God, friends! Look for the Fruit of the Spirit in your own life and take Joy in the Spirit's manifestation! You'll recognize the Spirit's manifestation because it will feel like JOY!

JOY!

JOY AND SHAME ARE LIKE OIL AND WATER, GUYS!

Now let's get in this together, everyone. If you don't know Jesus, pray to him right now! Use your heart! Cry out to him for anything and everything!

Cry out to Him for the sake of the World! We need a Gentle, Gracious Ruler like Him!

He lives inside each of us. He's buried more deeply in some than in others. Look for the Silhouette of the Goodness that you have seen missing in the world since the beginning of your consciousness.

Re: What does a gift from Jesus Christ look like?
And don't you dare say that His Gentleness, and His Goodness are not manifestations of His Great Infinite Power!

Don't you know that it is the weaker spirit who compels by force? The tempter, the liar, the deceiver, the tricker, the trapper, the STRANGER's VOICE, the THUMPED, the DEFEATED, THE SLAIN, the Seemingly Undefeatable Evil Angel of Great Infectious Darkness Who Turns Into a Baby at the Foot of the Cross of Jesus Christ, the Holy One of Israel. Praise Him forever and ever and if that sounds like hell to you cry out to him to deliver you from hell because it WILL get better and better as we realize the fullness of God's grace, mercy, and harmony throughout eternity.

Re: What does a gift from Jesus Christ look like?
Gifts from the Lord are like having good grandparents & knowing them for over 30 years. Having material things that have much history and are of exceedingly good quality. Rarely being hungry. Being surrounded by nature that worships the Lord constantly. The promise of seeing Him beyond the veil soon.
 Quoting: M1.618

The gifts described in the New Testament are not material. They are...unspeakable joy, healing, purification, knowing we are all connnected on a soul level, seeing everything through different eyes, sometimes psychic ability and greatest of all, communing with him, the higher consciousness.

Re: What does a gift from Jesus Christ look like?
I am speechless. hf I just want to share my thoughts and get the gospel out to people.
I didn't always believe this way. For a good portion of my life I was under the law and thought God was upset with me. I didn't even know if I was really saved or not because I had people telling me different things I needed to do.

Really glad you were blessed by my post! Please stay in touch hf Make an account :)

I tried to make an account but it says my email address is not recognized in their database. :/ I suppose I could make a new one for this purpose if it's important.

I actually keep track of anons by remembering their IDs. I always figured I could just copy down their ID # if I made a connection.

Hey, I enjoy that show "It's Supernatural" too. I like like hearing about the visits to heaven and visitations from Jesus.
Over the years, that show has really improved.

Every thing is a gift from the Lord & is good in the material as for the eternal we need things for the body in His measure for now)

That was beautiful Gracebear. I love Grace. I wish I had been taught more of it, but I was taught guilt, fear and shame. Your way of thinking is so refreshing and I would probably get more friendship with Lord Jesus if I could think like you do. I'm pretty damaged.
