Maybe...maybe not. They Have you ever seen what a reserve looks like? Junk and garbage everywhere. I use to work and live with native people, some of my closest friends were natives. I have been to the sweat lodges with real medicine men and learned to speak some Cree. Best time ever working cutting seismic lines for oil and gas exploration. I was one of ten white guys out of 150 employees who were natives. Stewardship is not about race, it is about intentions. I watched natives pour chainsaw gas and bar oil out into the muskeg so it looked like they worked really hard cutting down trees that day. Ironic isnt it? Natives are great stewards of the land yet they are cutting trees down trees and pouring gas and oil out in environmentally sensative areas. You are right about one thing, Obo is a dick.

If this slap in the face to the people of Wyoming and the citizens of the United States does, in fact, take place, a video record should be kept and distributed as to the conditions of the town involved, and the surrounding area. I say give it 6 months and the town will look like a ghetto. I've worked on Indian reservations in the past, and it's not pretty.

Perhaps you should look at where Riverton WY is, and what is in the immediate vicinity, and what kind of economic boom could take place there.................. Riverton is centrally located on the eastern slope of the Wind River Range, where Oil and Gas Drilling is expanding at a quick pace. The Western slope of the Winds has pretty much been all drilled and wells are in place.

This is nothing but a lame attempt to kill or steal the oil and gas exploration profits of the eastern slope from those who lawfully own the land. Riverton will become a boom town like what is taking place in the Dakota's right now if capitalism is allowed to do its thing.

This is all about setting the precedent that a federal agency can confiscate property without due process. The fact that it involves native tribes is intended to shut down dissent from the left and make the right look like genocidal maniacs.
